The Manage this Item menu

When you create a new item or edit an existing item, the Item Editor opens in a new browser window. By default, another window shows the item in Standard View (how students will see it). The Standard View is updated each time you click:

The Preview Item button, or

The Commit item to library button

This table describes the item view options available from the Manage this Item menu.

Menu Option	Menu Option Description
Standard View	Shows the item as it looks to students. You can work the item in this view.
Solution View	Shows all the components of tutorial, including Parts, Hints, Answers, and Wrong Answer Responses.
Comments View	Shows student comments posted for this item.
Print View	Shows the item as it will appear when students print it. Hints and correct answers do not display in this view.
Student Data View	Shows student statistics for the item, including the number of students who submitted answers, the percentage of answers that were correct, and percentages for various wrong answers.
View with Random Numbers	This menu option refreshes the item view with randomized numbers, and appears only for items that allow a random display of correct answers.
View with Fixed Numbers	This menu option refreshes the item view with fixed numbers, and appears only for items that allow a random display of correct answers.
View with Symbols	This menu option refreshes the item view with symbolic answers, and appears only for items that have a symbolic answer type.
Restart Work	Erases any work you've done on the item in Standard View, and redisplays the item. You can start work over and test the item again. You can also regenerate algorithmic values.
